Thank you for considering a donation towards my campaign to become the next City Councillor representing Mynarski in the 2026 Winnipeg Municipal Election. Successful fundraising is key to running a successful campaign - your contributions will go towards purchasing printed items like pamphlets and signs, marketing and advertising, establishing a campaign office, as well as providing honorariums and feeding volunteers.
In order to donate you need to be over 18, and a citizen of Manitoba. Only individuals can donate - we cannot accept donations on behalf of businesses and organizations. The maximum contribution to any registered candidate for Councillor is $750.00.
As per the Campaign Expenses and Contributions Guide provided by the City of Winnipeg, The Rebate of Election Contributions By-law No. 9/2010 provides for a rebate of contributions made to a registered candidate.
Rebates are calculated as follows:
- For total contributions between $25.00 and $300.00, the rebate is 75% of the contribution
- For total contributions between $301.00 and $1,000.00, the rebate is $225.00 plus 50% of the difference between the contribution and $300.00
- For total contributions of more than $1,000.00, the rebate is the lesser of:
- $575.00 plus 33.3% of the difference between the contribution and $1,000.00;
- $1,000.00 Contributions of less than $25.00 will not receive a rebate
- An applicant making contributions to more than one candidate is able to apply for a rebate for each contribution. The rebate calculated will be based on the total amount contributed.
